This blog initially started as a way to document my experiments and thoughts as I toyed with data science tools and concepts. More recently, I’ve started on an exciting new project: to create rich new datasets from public sources and equip budding data scientists to make use of them, with a focus on Africa. See this post for more details.
With this in mind, I’ve added a ‘tutorials’ section and a datasets page cataloguing useful sources from around the web and any new data I generate.
Feel free to contact me with ideas – at this stage I’m open to project suggestions, collaboration and anything else that will help the cause.
